“I'M OBSESSED. This is a revolution.”

A Musical.

A Movement.

A Revolution.

Pussy the Musical is a bold, irreverent journey exploring the female body, sexuality, and identity.

What People Are Saying

“Sam created something sublime - touching, heartbreakingly hilarious, and empowering. Pussy The Musical is a gift to women. ”

Pussy the Musical is unlike any performance I have experienced from an artistic standpoint but also TRUTH. It is raw, heartwarming, and heartwrenching, covering the beauty, magic and pain of being in a female body. What I desire in art of any form is TRUTH and Sam brings truths that are rarely spoken, shared or performed in public spaces. This is a musical I believe every person on the planet should watch repeatedly.

— Sara Czerwinski, Founder & CEO of Hearts Rewilding and Driftless Magic LLCs

“Pussy the Musical is a powerful and delicious romp into deep and dark terrain but Samantha does it with such a light touch and so much humor and wisdom. You will laugh out loud! And maybe cry a little too.”

Meet the Writer & Director

Phillipe Andre Coquet
Director

Phillipe Andre Coquet (aka Luxure) is a multidisciplinary theater artist with many alternating timelines of study and experience as an actor, writer, and director, spanning from Broadway and Hollywood, to Burlesque, street theatrics, and the Edinburgh Fringe. Over the last few years, he is  most occupied helping develop works by women. As a lifelong feminist and genderbender, he hopes that we can finally emerge from the Stone Age.

Samantha Cullinane
Writer

Samantha is a truth-seeker, creative visionary, and committed student of the feminine. Driven by an early questioning of why God was a man, she devoted herself to uncovering the divinity within women... and found it. Along that journey, she received an unexpected inner directive: write a musical. Though skeptical at first, she had learned by then that when the Goddess says jump, she asks, “How high?” She has now completed writing Pussy the Musical.

Samantha found success in the corporate world through finance, systems, and leadership… and still went searching for something deeper. After rising to become Chief of Staff to the President of an international five-billion-dollar corporation, she stepped into entrepreneurship and co-founded ventures devoted to investment, music, women’s leadership, and financial freedom, including Symmetry7, Bullfrog Investment Group, and NoBS Music. She also serves as Financial Advisor to the New Myths Film Fund. Yet beneath every title and achievement was the same question: what happens when women reclaim the sacredness of their own power?

A lifelong creative, Samantha started writing songs as a teenager, has released two albums and was invited to open for Jewel; attended college on a modern dance scholarship; is co-author of the book Marriage: From Miserable to Magnificent; co-hosts the podcasts Doggy Style and The Not So Perfect Couple; and delivered her TEDx talk Sex: The New Wonder Drug in both Normal, IL and Park City, UT.  Pussy the Musical marks the culmination of years spent exploring femininity, power, liberation, sexuality, relationship and the hidden stories women carry in their bodies.

Samantha has been married to her husband for thirty years, is a mother of four and a grandmother of four.
